Las Vegas Artist James Stanford Donates Proceeds from Artwork to Benefit Nevada Nonprofits
(Las Vegas, Nevada), 2021 - Las Vegas artist James Stanford will be donating a portion of his art sales to Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada through January 31, 2022. Throughout the end of this year and the next, 25% of all sales through his website (and site-specific commissions upon request) will be donated to a designated nonprofit during a three month period. Stanford states, “During the pandemic, I noticed many nonprofit organizations being impacted financially and ultimately those in need rely upon their support and services. I wanted to do something to help.”
Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of the organization in 1980, paving the way for the creation of Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada in 1996. Since the chapter’s founding, more than 2,300 wishes have been granted for children in Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, and Nye counties, and dozens of children from other states have traveled to Las Vegas for their wish come true.
Stanford will be partnering with several nonprofits throughout the year in an effort to support organizations who have been impacted financially due to the pandemic.
