Sally's Sassy was a saloon located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas in the 1980s. The sign was enormous and the letter S was made to look like a $ symbol to encourage big wins. Stanford's modern interpretation of a rich windfall is whimsey and very much a good luck charm.
